Danish Design Heritage
Corali rises from the Danish heritage of architecture and design - a tradition grounded in simplicity, quality craftsmanship, and aesthetic longevity. Designed by Danish architect Caroline Sillesen, each piece is carefully handmade in solid, high-quality materials and made to be worn across generations.
Caroline designs with time in mind. As a practicing architect, she brings a deep understanding of time and permanence. Each form is shaped with care and an endless search for timeless density. Even the smallest piece carries a story and a tactile simplicity.
Corali is made with intention and for a future where we consume less and value more.
Local production
All our pieces are handmade locally by our goldsmith, just a two-minute walk from our Copenhagen office. Two of our three foundries are only a short bike ride away, and the farthest is just an hour’s drive. We maintain close relationships with all our goldsmiths, visiting them several times a week. Keeping production local is very important to us – not only because we value the Danish tradition of craftsmanship, but also because it ensures responsible production, an ethical supply chain, and fair working conditions.
Recycled Metals & Nordic Urban Mining
Corali jewelry pieces and objects are made of 100% recycled certified metals. We only work in solid metals ensuring that the color, shape, and expression of your piece will remain over time.
All of our gold pieces are handmade in high-quality 14 karat solid recycled gold - gold which already exists in the world - making it a more responsible and sustainable choice. By repurposing existing gold rather than extracting new materials, we help reduce the environmental impact associated with traditional gold mining.
Our silver pieces are handmade in high-quality recycled sterling silver, sourced exclusively from Denmark through Nordic Urban Mining, a sustainable method of reclaiming silver from local waste, without the need for newly extracted metal.
Through an advanced sorting process, silver is extracted from the residue left after household and industrial waste is incinerated in Denmark. These precious metals - otherwise lost - are recovered and refined to the highest level of purity. This process also results in a significantly lower CO₂ footprint, making it a more responsible choice for the environment and for those seeking a more conscious alternative to newly mined silver. We are able to trace the origin of the refined recycled silver here in Denmark, ensuring full transparency throughout the process.
Silver and gold are among the few natural resources that can be recycled infinitely, as the recycling process does not degrade the metals. The quality of Nordic Urban Mining's silver is thoroughly documented and meets the high standards as newly extracted precious metals.
By choosing recycled gold and recycled silver from Nordic Urban Mining, we contribute to reducing the environmental impact.

Certified Pearls and Diamonds
We work with certified and responsibly sourced high-quality pearls and diamonds in our jewelry. We use certified cultured AA akoya pearls from Japan and AA freshwater pearls sourced from Chinese rivers.
We exclusively work with Top Wesselton VVS diamonds, ensuring high-quality. Our diamonds are conflict-free, certified under the Kimberley Process, approved by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses, and comply with the World Federation Code of Principles (WFCOP), guaranteeing ethical sourcing and the highest standards. Our supplier of diamonds is located in Antwerpen and has nearly eight decades of experience across three generations and is a certified member of the Responsible Jewelry Council and continues to expand its responsibility and sustainable footprint to include ESG reporting as a part of its ambitious CSR goals. They are one of the frontiers of diamond companies to join WJI 2030 with commitments in three key areas: Climate resilience by aligning with the SBTi climate targets; engaging in sustainable sourcing and packaging and inclusiveness by adhering to the Womens Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
No stock - no waste
Since day one, it has been the ambition for Corali to develop as a responsible brand with no over-production to ensure as little environmental impact as possible.
We keep a minimum stock of some of our bestsellers, otherwise all pieces are carefully handmade per order for each customer. When we produce a piece of jewelry or object, we collect and store silver and gold dust and pieces from the process, which can be melted down and reused to create something new in the future. Hereby, no excess materials go to waste.
Reusing Diamonds
Maintaining our deep commitment to sustainability and a future where we consume less and prioritize the quality of our belongings, we are happy to bring new life into any pre cherished diamonds you should have at home. If you wish to reuse one or more diamonds, we are glad to do so, whether by customizing an existing design or making a custom piece around your own diamond.
Unfortunately, we cannot reuse gold as it is difficult to control the quality and the refining process would incur additional costs.
